    Customer Testimonials

"Dan the Solar Man installed my system in December 2005 and I haven't had to do a thing with it.  It just keeps saving me money.  My monthly electric bills have dropped from $300/month down to just $50!  I've also added a solar hot water heater and can freely charge my electric golf cart to drive around the ranch.  I really enjoy beating the local utility company at their own game."

This will be the second year my electric solar system has saved me money! Since installing the system in 2009 I only have had to pay PGE the monthly "distribution costs," which amounts to about $12.00 per month. I chose to use the "time of use" plan with the meter running in reverse when I am producing more energy than needed. With the help of Dan, the Solar Man, I was able to precisely calculate my usage and the result is an electric bill of virtually $0. Dan Felperin is a very knowledgeable and upright business man and I would highly recommend him for any and all solar (sustainable) system installations.

We moved to Lakeport in 2000.

In 2003 we decided we wanted a solar electric system installed at our home.  We contacted Dan and he came to our home immediately.  He was very helpful in explaining the process and what it would cost.  He gave us an estimate and we agreed to proceed.

He held our hands through the entire process, helping with government and PG&E paperwork, rebates and permits.  He delivered on time and on budget.

The system was installed in early 2004.  In the 3 years prior to the installation, our PG&E bills averaged $157 a month.  Since then our bills have averaged less than $15 a month.

In 2006, we replaced some old appliances with new Energy Star units, which resulted in a solar electrical surplus.  We replaced our old kerosene water heater with an electric one and used the solar surplus to heat our water.  This resulted in a savings of more than $50 a month on kerosene,

The system Dan installed has performed flawlessly and has required NO maintenance over the last 6 plus years.

We would highly recommend Dan the Solar Man.
